Universal Pictures has unveiled a new IMAX poster for the documentary “EPIC: Elvis Presley in Concert.” The feature is billed as a cinematic experience directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Baz Luhrmann, who also helmed “Elvis,” which drew more than 1 million moviegoers in Brazil in 2022.
Baz Luhrmann returns to Elvis’ story
More than a concert film, the production aims to show Elvis Presley at his peak and present his story in a new way. A five-time Grammy winner, the artist known as the “King of Rock & Roll” remains a global cultural icon.
According to Guinness World Records, Elvis is the best-selling solo artist in music history, with 1 billion records sold.
Distributed by Universal Pictures, “EPIC: Elvis Presley in Concert” opens in Brazilian theaters on Feb. 26.
