On Bossa Nova Day, Bossa Nova Mall hosts the free Circuito Bossa workout plus a DJ set of genre classics this Sunday (Jan 25).
The special program takes place on January 25, 2026, turning the morning into a feel-good blend of movement and music. Managed by Alqia, the venue opens both activities to the public, pairing wellness with one of downtown Rio’s most striking waterfront views.
“Bossa Nova Mall pays tribute to this Brazilian rhythm that took the world by storm. To celebrate, we planned a morning that brings movement and music together, offering a complete experience that encourages healthy habits in a space that connects people, the city, and well-being,” says Daniel Azevedo, superintendent of Bossa Nova Mall.
Free Circuito Bossa workout
The special edition of Circuito Bossa kicks things off with an outdoor functional training session focused on strength, mobility, and endurance, led by instructors.
It takes place in the Bossa Nova Mall parking area, next to the Uber Lounge, with two time slots: 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Participants also receive small gifts provided by the mall’s stores.

DJ set with Bossa Nova classics
After the workout, visitors can head to the Events Square for a DJ performance featuring a set dedicated to Bossa Nova staples. The show is open to the public and does not require registration.
The playlist revisits landmark tracks from the genre, creating an easy Sunday-morning vibe at a venue known for its sweeping views of Rio.
