Brasilprev announces its sponsorship of Shrek The Musical, a major production premiering on April 15, 2026, at Teatro Renault in São Paulo. The support reinforces the company’s policy of promoting culture and its purpose of bringing quality content to Brazilian families.
Produced by Instituto Artium de Cultura, in co-production with Atelier de Cultura, the show features Tiago Abravanel as Shrek and Fabi Bang and Myra Ruiz alternating as Fiona. Inspired by the 2002 Oscar-winning film, the musical combines grand scenery, award-winning costumes and special effects to tell, with humor and emotion, the ogre’s journey and his inseparable friend Donkey in search of Fiona, celebrating friendship, acceptance and authenticity.
Commitment to culture and accessibility
Shrek joins a permanent calendar of cultural sponsorships by Brasilprev. In 2025, the company enabled nine projects in thirteen cities across Brazil’s five regions, reaching 1.26 million people, with 24,700 social tickets and 44,600 at popular prices, plus more than R$ 378 million in earned media return.
Recent titles include TV Colosso – O Musical (40,600 people and 7.7 tons of pet food collected), D.P.A. – A Peça 2 (88,100 people and 15 tons of food) and Henry & Klauss (98,500 people), as well as previous seasons such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Addams Family.
