Blending humor and music, “Lá é Aqui” invites families to reflect on sustainability this weekend at Sesc Pinheiros in São Paulo.
The children’s play “Lá é Aqui” will be staged this Saturday and Sunday (March 21–22) at 4 p.m. in the Sesc Pinheiros Plaza. Directed by Ângela Ribeiro and written by actor-mime artist Diego Chillio, the show blends poetry, humor, and live music to discuss the connection between humans and nature in a playful and engaging way.
On stage, Chillio performs alongside musicians Felipe Pagliato (percussion) and Gabriel Barbosa (guitar). The musical direction and compositions are by Marcello Ribeiro (Zênitha Música), enriching the sensory and interactive tone of the show. Admission is free and suitable for all ages.
The plot follows Bartolomeu, Pitolomeu, and Cosmo as they meet figures from Brazilian folklore—Caipora, Iara, and Boto—depicted as living beings affected by pollution and deforestation. Through humor, music, and games, the story reminds us that everything is connected: there is no “outside” to throw our waste, because the river, the forest, and the sea are all here.
