Brazil’s Labor Day holiday takes on a special beat in the Baixada Fluminense region. Shopping Nova Iguaçu opens its Pedreira Parking Lot for Baile das Antigas, an event that brings back the electric atmosphere of the funk dance parties that defined generations across the 1980s, 90s, and 2000s.
A lineup built on memory
Four iconic acts anchor the event: Pipos Ultra, Super Cash Box, A Cuca, and A Coisona. Together, they reconstruct the sound and energy that filled dance floors across Rio de Janeiro for more than two decades — from funk melody to charme and classic carioca funk in its most authentic form.
The event is produced by RJ Produções. Doors open at 1 PM through the shopping center’s external access at the Pedreira Parking Lot.
