Pistachio takes over Cacau Show with 1,400 tons produced

Pistachio truffles now outsell classic fillings at Cacau Show, which produced 1,400 tons of the ingredient in 2025 and unveils new Easter eggs.

A flavor that took over the shelves

Cacau Show, the world’s largest fine chocolate chain, was among the first brands in Brazil to develop pistachio-based products — and the bet has paid off spectacularly. On World Pistachio Day, celebrated on February 26, the company confirms what sales data had already revealed: the ingredient has moved far beyond limited editions and now sits at the top of the bestseller charts.

The 30g pistachio truffle is currently one of the network’s top-selling items, surpassing traditional fillings that had dominated for decades. Consumer demand drove the expansion — and the brand scaled up to match it.

1,400 tons in a single year

In 2025 alone, Cacau Show produced more than 1,400 metric tons of pistachio-based products. That figure covers only the permanent product line, excluding seasonal campaigns. To maintain quality, every paste in the lineup uses real pistachio — not artificial flavoring.

Today’s portfolio extends well beyond truffles. The dedicated pistachio line includes wafer cookies, assorted chocolate boxes (Petit Deli and Minishow), and chocolate bars from the laCreme and Dubai lines.

Easter 2026: two pistachio launches

For Easter, Cacau Show is introducing two new products. The first is the laCreme Pistachio Egg (348g), pairing the melt-in-your-mouth laCreme chocolate with an intense pistachio paste filling.

The second is the Dreams Dubai Pistachio Egg, which sold out as a limited release last year and is now available nationwide. It features a milk chocolate shell, pistachio cream filling, and kataifi pastry — the crispy dough beloved in Middle Eastern sweets — all coated in white chocolate. The contrast of textures is what makes it truly memorable.
