More than 500 jobs for people with disabilities and INSS-rehabilitated workers will be offered at Carioca station by Rede Incluir and 30 companies.
The disability job fair takes place this Thursday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Carioca/Centro station on MetrôRio. The action is part of Circuito Dia D 2026, organized by Instituto Rede Incluir in partnership with MetrôRio.
In total, 500 exclusive openings will be available for people with disabilities and INSS-rehabilitated workers. To take part, applicants must bring a photo ID, résumé and the medical report that confirms the disability.
Disability job fair moves hiring to Carioca station
The format focuses on direct contact between candidates and employers. As a result, it cuts common barriers such as difficult commuting, exclusionary screening and inaccessible hiring processes.
According to Instituto Rede Incluir, the goal is to turn one of the city’s most accessible transit hubs into a gateway to work. Since 2016, the organization has worked on productive inclusion and has helped place thousands of professionals in the job market.
More than 30 companies have already confirmed participation. Openings span services, industry, retail, healthcare and administrative roles.
Circuito Dia D 2026 brings companies together
Confirmed employers include Grupo South, FIRJAN, Dom Atacadista, Fas Saúde, Viva Rio, Assim Saúde, FUSVE, Grupo TOKKE, RVig, Litorânea, Araujo Abreu and STN Engenharia, among others.
The event is being held without public funding. Instead, it is supported by private social investment and broad institutional coordination, with backing from the Rio de Janeiro Labor Prosecutor’s Office and entities such as FIRJAN, AEDIN, Cluster Automotivo Sul Fluminense, ACIJA and AECG-Rio.
That network also includes partners such as INES, IBC, TJRJ, INSS, SMPD Rio, TRT-RJ and Casa da Inclusão. In this way, the project strengthens a broader inclusion ecosystem across the state.
“O Circuito Dia D é sobre criar acesso onde ele não existe. Pessoas com deficiência enfrentam barreiras todos os dias, principalmente nos processos seletivos. Quando levamos esse movimento para dentro de um espaço acessível, como o metrô da Carioca, e conectamos diretamente empresas e candidatos, estamos mudando a lógica da inclusão. Não é a pessoa que precisa se adaptar ao sistema. É o sistema que precisa estar preparado.”
The statement comes from Antoniel Bastos, president of Instituto Rede Incluir. In his view, the event goes beyond a traditional hiring fair and points to a practical shift in how inclusion is built.
