The global fashion brand opens stores in Sorocaba and Porto Alegre, creating 200 jobs and marking its arrival in southern Brazil.
H&M Brazil continues its national expansion, announcing three new stores that strengthen its presence in the country. The new locations include Sorocaba’s Iguatemi Esplanada, opening April 30, and two stores in Porto Alegre — at Iguatemi Porto Alegre (May 14) and Praia de Belas Shopping Center (May 28).
Offering women’s, men’s, kids’, and H&M Move collections, the stores were designed to deliver an integrated shopping experience with spacious, welcoming environments that promote the brand’s core commitment: fashion and quality at the best price, sustainably.
“These openings are another strong step in H&M’s long-term commitment to Brazil. Our arrival in Sorocaba and Porto Alegre reflects the economic potential of these regions and our confidence in the Brazilian market,” said Joaquim Pereira, Country Manager at H&M Brazil.
The Iguatemi Sorocaba and Iguatemi Porto Alegre stores will each measure around 1,800 m², while the Praia de Belas location will reach 1,900 m², becoming one of the brand’s largest spaces in Brazil.
Opening activations
During launch days, H&M Brazil will host special activations, offer shopping vouchers, and help visitors enroll in Clube H&M (https://www.hm.com.br/clubehm), which provides exclusive benefits such as discounts, cashback, free shipping, early access to collections, and event invitations.
The brand’s e-commerce (http://ww.hm.com.br/) has been active since August 2025, with nationwide delivery, mobile app integration, and loyalty program connectivity.
