His inclusion in the The Master Winemaker Top 100 2026 — organized by The Drinks Business and the Global Wine Masters Series — cements his standing as one of the most consistent and innovative figures in the global wine scene.This recognition highlights Vallejo’s technical mastery, innovative spirit, and his commitment to expressing the true character of Millahue, known as the “Place of Gold”. It also reinforces VIK’s dedication to sustainability, science, and art as pillars of its winemaking philosophy.
VIK: the world’s number one winery
This milestone follows another major victory — VIK was named the World’s No. 1 Winery at the The World’s 50 Best Vineyards 2025 awards. The achievement confirms the Chilean brand’s leadership in innovation, design, and excellence.The Master Winemaker Top 100 book also recognized VIK with the “Best Design & Packaging” award, while Stonevik 2024 earned “Best in Class” at the Design & Packaging Masters. Meanwhile, La Piu Belle 2021 won the Master Medal at the The Drinks Business Asia Masters, cementing the brand’s growing presence in Asia.
