Hemocentro bus parks at Célia Câmara Maternity on Jan 29 to collect blood donations and boost stocks ahead of February long weekend.
The drive runs from 8am to 4:30pm in the hospital parking lot, making it easy for West Goiânia residents, staff, and visitors to donate.
Why donate blood now?
Long weekends like February’s spike demand as blood stocks drop. One donation can save up to four lives.
Under the slogan “Donate blood, save lives,” it supports pregnant women, newborns, and emergency patients in public health.
A simple act can make all the difference and save lives.
Eligible donors are aged 16-69, over 50kg, healthy, with photo ID. Minors under 18 follow Hemocentro guidelines.
