Cia Athletica launches HYROX in Brazil, a workout combining strength, running and simplicity that became an international fitness phenomenon.

Cia Athletica has introduced HYROX, one of the world’s fastest-growing fitness modalities, across its gyms in Brazil. The workout gained visibility after becoming a sensation at FIBO, the world’s largest fitness trade fair held in Germany, where over 10,000 people participated. The concept immediately caught the attention of Cacá Ferreira, corporate technical manager of Cia Athletica.

“HYROX stands out for being accessible. Its exercises are simple and functional, with no complex movements, allowing anyone to take part,” says Ferreira. This simplicity, he explains, makes the practice inclusive and motivational for all audiences.

Community and collective energy

Ferreira points out that the sense of community is one of HYROX’s greatest appeals. “Everyone gets engaged, sweats and leaves feeling accomplished. That collective energy is extremely motivating,” he notes. The workout blends running with full-body functional movements, enhancing both strength and endurance in a dynamic group setting.

Global trend now in Brazilian gyms

By adding HYROX to its class schedule, Cia Athletica continues to deliver innovative, performance-driven training experiences aligned with global fitness trends. “There’s a strong movement toward integrated workouts that combine conditioning, strength, and personal challenge. That’s exactly what HYROX delivers,” says Ferreira.

The company plans to expand the program to other locations in 2026 and is preparing a new initiative, Hyrox YoungStars, designed for children to experience fun and engaging physical challenges that promote early fitness habits.
