For the first time ever, Alok performs alongside parents Swarup and Ekanta and twin brother Bhaskar at Greenvalley, previewing “Rave The World.”
On May 2nd, Greenvalley in Santa Catarina, Brazil, will host one of the most meaningful nights in Brazilian electronic music history. Alok will take the stage alongside his parents, Swarup and Ekanta, and twin brother Bhaskar — two generations of a family that helped shape the country’s electronic music scene, together on stage for the very first time.
The announcement was made on Thursday (9th). Carol Seubert and Korolova round out a line-up worthy of the occasion.
The “Rave The World” Preview
The night also marks the Brazilian debut of “Rave The World”, the most ambitious project of Alok’s career, set for its official launch in London in June. The concept is built around reclaiming the original values of rave culture: presence, connection, and collective experience.
The symbolism runs even deeper given that this preview unfolds alongside Swarup and Ekanta, founders of Universo Paralello — the festival that lies at the very roots of what Rave The World celebrates. More than a preview, the Greenvalley night stands as a statement about what rave has always meant.
A historic night with two generations of the same family on stage, showing what has always been at the heart of rave culture: being present, connecting, and living the moment together.
