Andy Summers brings Call The Police Tour to Belo Horizonte

Andy Summers, João Barone, and Rodrigo Santos celebrate 10 years of Call The Police Tour with a special concert in Belo Horizonte on March 8.

On March 8 at 7 p.m., Belo Horizonte will host a memorable night at the Palácio das Artes with the Call The Police Tour 2026. The project marks a decade of union between Andy Summers (The Police), João Barone (Os Paralamas do Sucesso), and Rodrigo Santos (formerly of Barão Vermelho).

The setlist revisits the most iconic The Police classics, such as “Every Breath You Take” and “Roxanne”, along with exclusive surprises for the anniversary tour. Their chemistry combines Summers’ unmistakable guitar sound, Barone’s precise drumming, and Santos’ powerful voice to deliver a dynamic tribute to one of rock’s most influential bands.

Born in 2014 from a musical connection between Summers and Santos in Rio de Janeiro, the project gained its final shape in 2016 when Barone joined and named it Call The Police. Since then, the trio has been honoring The Police’s groundbreaking blend of reggae, punk, and new wave across stages worldwide.

For Rodrigo Santos, it’s more than a tribute—it’s a dream come true: “Andy chose us to be the official group taking The Police’s music around the world,” he says proudly.

Summers remains a rock legend, having collaborated with Gilberto Gil, Roberto Menescal, and Robert Fripp. Together, the trio bridges British rock heritage and Brazilian musical passion in an energetic homage to a timeless band.
