“Ficar e Morar”, the new romantic waltz by Tatiana Dias Gomes and Leo Martins, celebrates their love and the birth of their son, Lucas.
The couple found a heartfelt way to honor their partnership and the arrival of their first child. On February 27, they will release the single and music video “Ficar e Morar”, exactly one month after Lucas’s birth — the great-grandson of Janete Clair and Dias Gomes.
A waltz about love and belonging
The song, written in waltz rhythm, turns their shared story into poetry. With lyrics about permanence and tenderness, it features an arrangement by Nema Antunes (who also plays bass), plus Alfredo Dias Gomes on drums and Renan Francioni on keyboards.
“Ficar e Morar” is a mature love statement where the home becomes a symbol of dreams and future.
Two creative paths intertwined
Leo Martins, a Rio-based musician and voice actor, has performed with bands like Overblues and Ideia Rara. As a guitarist, he joined artists such as Criolo, Milton Nascimento, and Roberta Sá, and voiced Austin Butler in “Elvis”.
Tatiana Dias Gomes, daughter of drummer Alfredo Dias Gomes and actress Neuza Caribé, grew up surrounded by music and theater. A psychologist and singer-songwriter, she released the EPs Romance and 2Dias, plus singles like “Cantiga Pra Ninar Quem se Ama” and “Dançando na Lua”.
Family legacy and emotion
In 2019, Tatiana released Tributo para Michael with her father, reinterpreting Michael Jackson. In 2023, they collaborated again on Romance, blending MPB and jazz in an intimate album about love and connection.
With “Ficar e Morar”, Tatiana and Leo prove that when love becomes art, it finds its home in music.
