Days before Lollapalooza Brazil, Nina Maia performs in Belo Horizonte with her acclaimed debut album “INTEIRA”, nominated for the 2024 APCA Award.
Brazilian singer-songwriter Nina Maia takes the stage at A Autêntica (BH) on March 12, at 9 p.m., with the live version of “INTEIRA”. Blending indie pop and jazz influences, the record revealed her unique aesthetic and earned her national recognition and a nomination for Best New Artist at the APCA Awards.
The tour continues through Rio de Janeiro (Mar 11, Manouche), Porto Alegre (Apr 11, Espaço 373), and São Paulo (Apr 30, Casa Natura Musical), before her debut at Lollapalooza Brazil on March 22.
Praised by Portuguese author Valter Hugo Mãe as “the beginning of the future”, Nina has also gained international attention. Her album “INTEIRA (Deluxe)” was released on vinyl in 2025 by UK label Mr. Bongo and was featured by BBC 6, RFI, and Bandcamp, strengthening her global presence in Brazilian contemporary music.
“Since releasing ‘INTEIRA’, I’ve been shaping my career according to my vision and research. I want to build a community and connect even more,” Nina Maia says.
Her 2026 live shows feature a new stage setup and expanded sound with Pedro Lacerda (drums), Francisca Barreto (cello), Thales Hash (viola), Yann Dardenne (guitar), and Valentim Frateschi (bass and synth). The setlist includes songs from “INTEIRA” and the new unreleased track “Tempos Ruins”.
