After 17 years, Rush returns to Brazil with the “Fifty Something Tour,” honoring Neil Peart and celebrating 50 years of music.
Canadian rock legends Rush announced their long-awaited comeback with the Fifty Something Tour, celebrating five decades of groundbreaking music and paying tribute to the late drummer Neil Peart. After selling out 58 shows across North America in 2026, the band expands the tour to South America, the UK, and Europe in 2027—including a long-awaited return to Brazil.
Produced by 30e and presented by Itaú Unibanco, the tour includes concerts in Curitiba (Jan 22), São Paulo (Jan 24), Rio de Janeiro (Jan 30), Belo Horizonte (Feb 1), and Brasília (Feb 4). Exclusive presale for Itaú clients begins February 25 at 10 a.m., with general sales starting February 27 at 11 a.m. via Eventim (eventim.com.br/Rush).
A 50-year celebration
Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will share the stage with German drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold (The Who, Roger Daltrey). Each concert will follow the “an evening with” format, featuring two sets and a rotating setlist drawn from over 40 songs spanning Rush’s rich career.
“We hope you’ll join us to celebrate 50 years of Rush’s music as we pay long-overdue tribute to Neil,” said Geddy Lee.
Tour and releases
The tour follows the acclaimed 2025 release of “Rush 50 (Anniversary Super Deluxe)” and the upcoming expanded box set of “Grace Under Pressure”, arriving on March 13, 2026, featuring a new mix by Terry Brown and a vintage live recording from 1984.
