Brazilian singer Thiago Martins closes his samba and pagode audiovisual album with Volume 4, featuring lead single “Morena” alongside Nego Noronha.
Singer and actor Thiago Martins has released Quintal do TG – Volume 4, the final chapter of an audiovisual project that has become one of the most vibrant contemporary celebrations of Brazilian samba and pagode. The 10-track volume balances tradition and renewal, delivering three brand-new songs to the project’s catalogue.
The lead single is “Morena”, a collaboration with Nego Noronha, a singer-songwriter and pagode artist from the island of Fernando de Noronha. For Thiago, the choice was immediate: “This song arrived through the composers to my musical director right at the end of the album’s selection process. Morena is the kind of song that hooks you from the very first note — we looked at each other and said ‘This is a banger, it’s in!'”, he recalls.
From Vidigal to Fernando de Noronha
Quintal do TG was born from the artist’s roots in Vidigal, in Rio de Janeiro, and expanded to include deeply personal locations such as Fernando de Noronha and Vitória, in Espírito Santo. Releasing the project in four separate volumes was a deliberate choice — allowing fans to connect with each story and collaboration on its own terms.
Thiago considers Noronha his favorite place in the world, a sanctuary where he became a certified diver and where walking barefoot on the sand brings him genuine peace. Vitória holds a special place too, thanks to its resemblance to Rio and the warmth of its people — a city he has visited since the earliest days of his musical career.
Friendship as the project’s foundation
Conceived as a gathering of close friends, Quintal do TG is also a tribute to the icons who shaped the artist’s musical roots. What began as a homage to Jorge Aragão, Arlindo Cruz, and Zeca Pagodinho has grown into a full embrace of the genre’s ancestry.
Nego has been a friend from the island for a long time. He’s a gifted composer, a true-roots pagode artist, and a man of great talent. Having Nego in Quintal do TG is about celebrating friendship and toasting our music. Being able to bring my friends and local artists from Noronha into the project was something special. They are all part of my life, and I want more people to discover their work.

New songs and a classic reimagined
Alongside “Morena”, Volume 4 introduces the new tracks “Acender o Nosso Amor” and “Calma Aí”, the latter featuring singer Gica. The album also delivers a powerful reimagining of the classic “Mulheres” with Mart’nália. With the full audiovisual project now available on streaming platforms, Thiago Martins cements his place as one of the standout voices of the new generation of Brazilian pagode and samba.
