Universo Alegria is coming full circle in 2026. On April 26, the festival returns to the Parque de Exposições Assis Brasil in Esteio, Rio Grande do Sul — the very venue where it all began. After recent editions at Arena do Grêmio in Porto Alegre and an expansion into Curitiba, the event lands back at its birthplace on a brand-new date in the calendar.
The choice of venue is loaded with meaning. The Parque Assis Brasil holds the memories of the festival’s earliest years, and returning there signals a powerful reconnection with the identity that made Universo Alegria one of the biggest events in southern Brazil.
A lineup that bridges generations
The lineup was built to reflect that bridge between past and present. Corpo e Alma and Rainha Musical — acts tied to southern Brazilian popular music who were part of the festival’s early identity — return to the stage alongside national sertanejo heavyweights Bruno & Marrone, Maiara & Maraísa, and Victor & Léo.
Cê Tá Doido: the sertanejo phenomenon
The standout attraction of this edition is the Cê Tá Doido project. A current phenomenon in Brazilian sertanejo music, the project brings together Ícaro & Gilmar, Humberto & Ronaldo, and Panda for a joint performance that has been drawing massive crowds across the country.
The show promises more than four hours of music, blending original hits, re-recordings, and genre classics. The performance takes place on an exclusive stage designed as a gas station, creating a fully immersive and unforgettable experience.
