A free show for 18,000 people turned Linhares into an open-air set as Zé Elias recorded the Serestão do Zé DVD alongside Gusttavo Lima. The recording took place on Sunday (18) in the Três Barras neighborhood of Linhares, in Brazil’s Espírito Santo state. With the concert open to the public, the area became a massive outdoor stage, and fans packed in early to witness a milestone in the singer’s career.
An open-air DVD built for closeness
The outdoor setup, framed by the sunset and a crowd kept close to the stage, highlighted what defines Serestão do Zé. The project leans into intimacy and shared singing, aiming for a live experience that feels like a community gathering rather than a distant arena show.
Special guests lift the night
The concert featured appearances by Elias Wagner, the artist’s father, by duo João Bosco & Vinícius, and by Brazilian superstar Gusttavo Lima, introduced as a key musical partner. His moment onstage sparked one of the loudest sing-alongs of the event.
“Recording the DVD in my hometown and representing Linhares and Espírito Santo is a huge dream. Having Gusttavo Lima and João Bosco & Vinícius on this project feels surreal to me.”
Romantic setlist with a seresta soul
The DVD mixes romantic, crowd-friendly songs, combining new originals with re-recorded hits. It keeps the spirit of seresta—the singer’s signature style and the foundation of his strong bond with fans.By choosing Linhares for the recording, Zé Elias also spotlights Espírito Santo’s cultural presence inside Brazil’s mainstream country scene, while staying true to the warm, close-up vibe that made the project stand out.Foto: Divulgação
