Brazilian cinema is enjoying a rare moment in the global spotlight, and Burger King® is turning online buzz into seats filled at the theater. Teaming up with Cinépolis, the brand launched a Clube BK® points redemption that lets fans trade loyalty points for movie tickets—nudging audiences to show up for a nationally made film already recognized across major international awards circuits.

The campaign is driven by a video featuring Tânia Maria as the voice of Brazil’s “cheering section.” In the spot, the actress celebrates the film’s unprecedented nominations and urges fans to support Brazilian talent in person, framing Cinépolis theaters as the place to experience it with comfort and premium viewing options.

How it works: Clube BK® points for tickets
Starting January 22, Burger King® loyalty members can use points in the BK® app to redeem tickets, while supplies last (500 total).
Redemption options include:
100 points: 01 standard ticket (valid every day for 2D and 3D screenings).
200 points: 01 VIP ticket (valid for VIP, MacroXE, 4DX, IMAX and Junior formats, subject to availability).
To spread access, each CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID) can redeem up to 2 tickets.
Giulia Queiroz, Burger King®’s marketing director, says the brand aims to be part of “the conversations that move the country,” and sees global recognition of Brazilian talent as a point of pride—one it can help fans take part in.
Cinépolis highlights its support for local films
Cinépolis points to a track record of initiatives that broaden access to Brazilian releases nationwide. The chain also mentions its “Seleção Especial Cinépolis,” a program tied to special ticket conditions for major launches and award-recognized films, noting that O Agente Secreto recently took part.
Willy Cravo, Marketing and Commercial Director at Cinépolis Brazil, says the goal is to bring audiences into a “historic moment” with immersive viewing—while strengthening Brazilian cinema by expanding its reach in theaters.
What you get after redeeming
Tickets are available through the BK® app while inventory lasts: 250 standard and 250 VIP. After redeeming, customers receive a voucher/code to use at participating Cinépolis locations across Brazil.
