At the 2026 Winter Olympics, Brazil House welcomed 1,500 guests per day in Milan, 70% foreigners, marking a milestone debut.
As the world says goodbye to the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, Brazil House celebrates the remarkable success of its first-ever winter edition. Created by the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB), the venue at Casa degli Artisti became a vibrant showcase of Brazilian culture, sport, and warmth.
A global audience
Hosting an average of 1,500 visitors daily from 77 nationalities, Brazil House proved to be a true international hub. COB’s Communications and Marketing Director, Manoela Penna, explained: “We knew it was ambitious, but the timing was right. Milan was the perfect choice, with its large Brazilian community and steady flow of Olympic tourists.”
“Our goal was to bring warmth to the Winter Games, but the success exceeded every expectation.” — Manoela Penna
Stars and flavors from Brazil
The venue hosted 26 athletes and celebrities, including Rebeca Andrade, Rayssa Leal, and Adriano Imperador, as well as singer Dinho Ouro Preto. Olympians such as Lucas Pinheiro (alpine skiing gold), Nicole Silveira (skeleton), and Pat Burgener (snowboard) also visited after their events.
Brazilian cuisine shone under the direction of Michelin-starred chef Raphael Rego, who served creative reinterpretations of national dishes — including about 200 kg of pão de queijo during the Games.
Brazil on the world stage
This record-breaking attendance and global reach reaffirm Brazil House as a cultural showcase for the country abroad. Its success in Milan sets the stage for future editions and highlights Brazil’s ability to blend sport and art in one experience.
