With R$ 1 billion in sales, the Residence Club at the Hard Rock Hotel Gramado begins structural works, marking a new era in luxury tourism.
Gramado, in southern Brazil’s Serra Gaúcha region, is emerging as a destination for high-end tourism. Traditionally known for winter holidays and the famous “Natal Luz,” the city now embraces a wave of world-class projects focused on immersive experiences and global hospitality.
The Mundo Planalto Group has launched the structural phase of the Residence Club at the Hard Rock Hotel Gramado after reaching a milestone of R$ 1 billion in General Sales Value (VGV). Proaço, a construction company from Santa Catarina, was hired for over R$ 40 million to execute about 55,000 m² of pre-molded concrete structures.
“Reaching R$ 1 billion in VGV demonstrates market confidence and economic viability. We’re now entering a phase that demands precision, scale, and control,” said José Roberto Nunes, CEO of Mundo Planalto.
Scheduled for completion in November 2028, the project adopts an industrialized construction model. According to Silvio Prim, founder of Proaço, “this system ensures quality control, site organization, and speed — key elements of an international-standard development.”
This milestone reflects a broader transformation in the Serra Gaúcha tourism market, driving local job creation and commercial activity. Sustainability also plays a role through Hard Rock’s Save the Planet program, emphasizing waste reduction and resource management.
With Hard Rock entering the scene, Gramado is redefining itself as a destination that blends mountain charm with global sophistication.
