60,000 revelers pack Paracuru Folia Arena despite rain

Not even rain stopped 60,000 people from singing hits by Dennis DJ, Zé Cantor, Mara Pavannely and Jotavê at the fourth night of Ceará’s carnival on Sunday.

The fourth night of Paracuru Folia 2026 consolidated the event’s success on Sunday evening. More than 60,000 revelers packed the Arena set up by Paracuru City Hall, transforming the space into a grand celebration of rhythms and musical cultures.

Dennis DJ opened the night with his contagious electronic set, turning the arena into an open-air dance floor. The crowd sang along to the DJ’s hits, who kept the energy high throughout his performance.

Next, forró music dominated the party. Zé Cantor brought a repertoire filled with classics that marked generations, lifting revelers with nationally recognized hits.

The vocal power of Mara Pavannely moved the crowd, getting everyone to sing along. The artist ensured moments of connection and emotion with the audience.

Jotavê closed the night keeping the party’s rhythm going until late hours. His contagious energy ensured the crowd remained animated from start to finish.

Rain cools but doesn’t discourage revelers

The rain that fell during the night didn’t discourage attendees. On the contrary, it served to cool down the crowd, who didn’t leave the Arena and continued celebrating alongside the artists.

For Mayor Gabi do Aquino, the result reflects the administration’s commitment to delivering a safe, organized carnival that values local culture and tourism.

Paracuru Folia 2026 continues this Tuesday, February 17, with major attractions like Henry Freitas and Pedro Sampaio, promising to maintain the fast-paced rhythm and joy that marked previous nights.
