Cinesystem’s Kiss Weekend returns for its sixth edition with a straightforward concept: show any kind of affection at the box office and walk away with a pair of tickets discounted by up to 60%. A kiss on the cheek between friends, a parent and child, a couple, or any heartfelt gesture all qualify. The initiative is about connection in its broadest sense.
The promotion runs from April 9 to 13, 2026, expanding the chain’s popular weekly “Kiss Thursday” to a full five-day window. The extended period aligns with Kiss Day, celebrated on April 13, giving moviegoers across the country an extra reason to head to the cinema.
Six years as a pioneer
Cinesystem was the first cinema chain in Brazil to launch this type of campaign. Over six years, it has grown into one of the most anticipated events in the network’s cultural calendar. “Kiss Weekend has already become a tradition for Cinesystem, which was a pioneer in this project among cinemas in the country and has been running the initiative for six years. It’s an action that reflects our focus on the customer experience, bringing lightness, interaction and creating an even more welcoming environment for the audience. And this year, we expanded this opportunity so that even more people can enjoy it,” says Samara Vilvert, Marketing Manager at Cinesystem.
As Brazil’s fifth-largest cinema exhibitor, Cinesystem uses the campaign to reinforce its commitment to accessibility. The discount is not stackable with other offers, and ticket prices may vary depending on the room type, including VIP and IMAX options.

Participants can also grab a special combo featuring one large popcorn and two medium sodas for R$ 29.90. The offer is available at all participating multiplexes, with possible variations at select locations.
