Chef João Vieira, a social media star, leads a free online UNINASSAU talk on art, technique, and innovation in gastronomy.
This Thursday (26), UNINASSAU – Maurício de Nassau University Center Recife, Graças campus, hosts an online lecture with acclaimed chef João Vieira. Open to the public, the session begins at 7 p.m. and features the theme “Art, Technique, and Revolution at the Table.”
The event aims to explore culinary techniques and dispel common kitchen myths. According to Gastronomy program coordinator Zilmeire Marques, it’s an opportunity to combine creativity and cultural identity in practice. “It’s a chance to understand creative processes, management, and innovation in gastronomy,” she says.
“It’s a moment of connection, learning, and strengthening our field,” says Zilmeire Marques, UNINASSAU Gastronomy coordinator.
Awarded the ABRACHEFS 2025 national title and the Chile 2025 world championship, João Vieira has over 1.4 million followers. Known for his dynamic and accessible approach, he translates professional cooking concepts into engaging and inspiring lessons.
