INSPIRAMAIS presents programming on fashion, sustainability and AI on January 27 and 28, 2026, in Porto Alegre.
The 33rd edition of INSPIRAMAIS, the leading materials launch event for the fashion industry, has released its schedule focused on design, sustainability and Artificial Intelligence. The event brings together more than 150 companies from the components, chemical and leather segments and takes place on January 27 and 28, 2026, at the Fiergs Event Center in Porto Alegre.
The Innovation Arena program begins at 11 a.m. on January 27 with the official opening ceremony and the participation of authorities and leaders of the leather-footwear chain. The ceremony includes the presentation of Origem Sustentável certifications, the only global certification dedicated exclusively to the footwear production industry, which already recognizes more than 50% of the sector’s output.
At 1:30 p.m., the creative coordinator of Assintecal’s Research and Design Center, Walter Rodrigues, presents the research that generated over one thousand innovative and sustainable materials. The study, titled The Turning Point and inspired by Fritjof Capra’s book “The Turning Point,” proposes an ecological and feminine perspective for systemic change.
The research explores the transition from Bauman’s “Liquid Modernity” to a “Gaseous Modernity,” characterized by volatility and speed. It presents three subthemes: Holistic Gaseous, Biological Gaseous and Rupture. The collections feature lightness, organic textures, layers, cellular aspects, gelatinous elements, amorphous structures, futurism and three-dimensional constructions supported by AI. The presentation will be repeated on the second day at 11:15 a.m.
At 2:15 p.m., the lecture Design First: The Secondary Role of Technology will be presented by Daniel Quintana Sperb, who will discuss design, AI and human behavior.
At 3:45 p.m., consultant Emmanuelle Tonani presents Artificial Intelligence for Fashion Creatives, highlighting how AI enhances creative and strategic potential.
Second day
On January 28 at 10:30 a.m., Rodrigues presents the Local Iconography – Amazon Biome project, which highlights sustainable development and business opportunities in the region.
The initiative covers Santarém, Alter do Chão, Belterra and Mojuí dos Campos, with an in-depth territorial survey focused on local identity. Based on this research, Assintecal supported local businesses in developing products and services with territorial identity. More than 80 new materials and solutions were created.
At 11:15 a.m., Rodrigues repeats the Turning Point presentation. At 2:15 p.m., he details the Essence research preview, which will guide the July collection, with the participation of Marnei Carminatti.
At 1:30 p.m., Tiago Peters, founder of the Voren Agency, presents the behind-the-scenes insights of the Human campaign, winner of the 2025 Share Social Media Award.
The final lecture begins at 3:15 p.m. with Flávia Vanelli and Cândido Machado, who will discuss Fashion, Design and Architecture as agents of transformation.
The Innovation Arena features sponsorship from Kisafix and support from Sebrae.
