Partnership between La Roche-Posay and WeCancer expands integrated support for cancer patients, benefiting more than 26,000 people in Brazil.
In Brazil, the estimate of 704,000 new cancer cases per year, according to the National Cancer Institute (INCA), highlights the need for large-scale care initiatives. On the National Day to Fight Cancer, celebrated on November 27, La Roche-Posay and WeCancer reinforce their commitment to continuous and comprehensive patient support.
The partnership combines dermatological science with humanized care and multidisciplinary guidance. The collaboration is part of the brand’s cause “Fight with Care,” which aims to ensure patients’ quality of life during treatment. Since 2023, more than 10,000 patients have benefited from the initiative.
Through its 100% free digital platform, WeCancer provides psychological support and guidance from specialized professionals. The CECI platform offers remote follow-up and symptom tracking to support clinical evaluation.
“The National Day to Fight Cancer reminds us that treating the tumor is not enough. We must care for the entire patient journey and for those who stand beside them. WeCancer was born with this purpose, combining technology, a multiprofessional team, and emotional support. The partnership with La Roche-Posay turns consumption into continuous support and dignity for thousands of people.”
In July 2025, La Roche-Posay celebrated its 50th anniversary in Brazil with a social initiative. Throughout the month, for each unit of Cicaplast sold, R$1.00 was donated to WeCancer.
The campaign increased the partnership’s reach and guaranteed support for more than 26,000 patients undergoing cancer treatment, eight times the impact achieved by early 2024.
The 50th anniversary campaign also featured a 360-degree strategy, including Out of Home media, engagement of medical specialists and content creators, and institutional film distribution on streaming platforms.
The L’Oréal Group has been dedicated to beauty for 115 years, with a portfolio of 38 brands and sales of 43.48 billion euros in 2024. The company employs more than 90,000 people worldwide and invests heavily in Research & Innovation.
