New premieres on Sabor & Arte explore Brazilian artisanal cheese and Uruguay’s wine culture in a single themed night.
Sabor & Arte rolls out a special lineup on April 28, bringing two premieres that highlight gastronomy as culture. The evening starts with season four of Que Seja Eterno Enquanto Cure at 6:15 PM and continues with a new Adega Sabor & Arte episode at 11 PM.
Cheese as culture and identity
Hosted by Dudu Prado, the series dives into Brazil’s artisanal cheese scene across six new episodes. It frames cheese not just as food, but as a reflection of heritage, land, and resilience.
Highlights include Bela Fazenda in São Paulo, Queijaria Velho Pitta in Minas Gerais, and Leiteria Bocaina, alongside other producers. Time itself becomes a key theme, shaping flavor and identity.
A journey through Uruguay’s wines
Later, Adega Sabor & Arte presents a 52-minute documentary on Uruguay. Produced with Adega Magazine, it is guided by Christian Burgos and sommelier Cecilia Aldaz.
The episode visits Colonia, Montevideo, Canelones, and Maldonado, featuring six wineries such as Los Cerros de San Juan and Bodega Garzón. Tastings, interviews, and travel experiences shape the narrative.
The spotlight falls on Tannat, Uruguay’s flagship grape, and Albariño, an emerging variety. The journey also includes restaurants, landmarks, and hospitality experiences.
