Fazenda Bosque Belo opens April 25 for an exclusive farm-to-table picnic on a 300-year-old property with free-roaming rescued parrots in Boituva, Brazil.

Genuine farm-to-table dining outdoors

Farm to table is not a marketing phrase at Fazenda Bosque Belo — it is the guiding principle of everything served on the property. At the picnic, every item in the basket comes directly from the farm’s garden, orchard, or artisanal production. Because each detail is prepared in advance and the experience is designed to feel intimate, spots are strictly limited.

Two time slots are available: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. or 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Guests have free access to the full property during their chosen session, including preserved forest trails, an active agroforestry area, and the kind of unhurried pace that city life rarely allows.

A historic estate with living wildlife

The farm’s historic manor house dates back to between 1700 and 1750, making it one of the oldest working estates in São Paulo state. The surrounding land holds an agroforest of 2,500 seedlings of fruit and medicinal species, a Wagyu cattle operation, and the Bosque das Araras Project — an IBAMA-registered wildlife sanctuary where parrots and macaws rescued from illegal trafficking live in open-air freedom.

Located approximately 120 kilometers (75 miles) from São Paulo, the farm is an easy day trip that does not require an overnight stay.

The Bosque Picnic welcomes children of all ages, making it a genuine multigenerational outing. The open, safe environment lets kids explore freely while adults enjoy the landscape and the food. Quality and attention to detail remain central to both experiences.
