CiaTeatro Epigenia brings its hit comedy to Rio for a short season at Teatro Nelson Rodrigues.CAIXA Cultural Rio de Janeiro presents, from December 4 to 21, at Teatro Nelson Rodrigues, the comedy “De Perto Ninguém é Normal”, a major success by CiaTeatro Epigenia, celebrating 25 years of history.After attracting more than 30,000 spectators at Teatro Popular do SESI-SP and touring the interior of São Paulo, the production arrives in Rio for a short season.In the world of theater, the final rehearsal is decisive. In “De Perto Ninguém é Normal”, this tradition is humorously broken. The plot follows a company on opening night without a single full rehearsal completed.Chaos takes over backstage, and the audience is invited into a meta-theatrical experience. Errors and improvisation drive the narrative in unexpected and comic ways.Awarded by the CENYM Awards as Best Theater Company in 2022 and nominated again in 2023, CiaTeatro Epigenia has produced over 25 shows across 21 Brazilian states.The cast features 11 prominent actors under the direction and script of Gustavo Paso. The production received four CENYM nominations.
