Sheridan’s most personal story heads to Paramount+
Madison marks a new chapter for Taylor Sheridan — the Oscar®-nominated writer and showrunner behind Yellowstone and 1923. This time, he trades sprawling ranch sagas for something quieter and more human: a six-episode family drama about grief, resilience, and the invisible bonds that hold people together. The series follows the Clyburn family, rooted in New York City, as they find themselves drawn to the Madison River Valley in central Montana. Two worlds — the relentless pulse of Manhattan and the rugged stillness of Big Sky Country — collide and mirror each other across every episode.A-list cast and a two-week rollout
Leading the cast are Oscar®-nominated Michelle Pfeiffer and Golden Globe®-nominated Kurt Russell, both of whom also serve as executive producers. Joining them are Patrick J. Adams (Suits), Matthew Fox (Lost), Will Arnett (Is This Thing On?), Ben Schnetzer (3 Body Problem), and Danielle Vasinova (1923), among others. Christina Alexandra Voros directs all six episodes. The premiere rolls out in two waves: the first three episodes drop exclusively on Paramount+ on Saturday, March 14. The remaining three episodes follow during the week of March 21. A second season has already been greenlit, with a premiere date to be announced.Madison is the most intimate work Taylor Sheridan has created to date — an emotionally resonant portrait of grief and human connection set between Montana and Manhattan.
