Fan challenge hits the streets today
The Monsters Challenge has been making waves online — and it takes over a physical space today, February 21. From 10 a.m. to noon, Woodstock Rock Store in São Paulo hosts the in-person edition, with two categories: cosplay (as Axl, Slash, or Lzzy) or collectible items from the 1995, 1996, and 2026 festival editions. The virtual round ran on the festival’s Instagram during Brazil’s Carnival, drawing 24 contestants who showed off band tattoos or created original monster designs. The campaign racked up nearly 1 million views. Winners from both rounds take home an exclusive Monsters Kit loaded with special event merchandise.
