Prime Video unveils the trailer and poster for Cross Season 2, premiering February 11, 2026 with three episodes, followed by weekly releases.

Prime Video has released the official trailer and poster for Season 2 of Cross, the crime thriller based on characters created by James Patterson. The new season launches on February 11, 2026 on Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories.

The rollout starts with three episodes, with remaining installments arriving weekly through March 18.

A Washington, D.C. crime thriller

Created by showrunner and executive producer Ben Watkins, Cross follows Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge), a Washington, D.C. detective and forensic psychologist who can get inside killers’ minds to bring them down.

According to Prime Video, Season 1 reached more than 40 million viewers worldwide within its first 20 days, positioning Cross as a major hit for the service.

A deadlier case in Season 2

Season 2 pushes the series into riskier territory when billionaire mogul Lance Durand (Matthew Lillard) asks the FBI for protection after receiving a death threat tied to the murder of a billionaire playboy.

Detective Alex Cross and FBI agent Kayla Craig (Alona Tal) lead the mission to protect Durand and track down a killer who leaves behind disturbing clues. Meanwhile, Cross’ longtime partner and friend John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa) forms an unexpected connection.

The cast expands with Matthew Lillard, Jeanine Mason, and Wes Chatham, joining returning series regulars Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, and Johnny Ray Gill.
